Betty Lois Corbin Moomau

Betty Lois (Corbin) Moomau 88, wife of the late Quinnlyn Felton Moomau passed away on Friday April 21, 2023 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

Betty was born on April 11, 1935 in Craigsville to the late Richard Harry Corbin and Ada Jane (Swisher) Moran.

She was a member of Greenville Baptist Church. She loved bingo and going to Charles Town, West Virginia. She enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Ricky Moomau and his wife, Jennifer of Staunton and her daughter Lynn Moomau Hensley of Staunton: her grandchildren, Brittany Showalter and her husband, Kris of Greenville, Steven DeJarnette of Stuarts Draft, Andrea Escalante and her husband Iwin of Staunton, Cody Moomau of Staunton, Raven Stallings and her husband, Pete of Staunton, Sarah Beverage of Staunton, Brandon Hensley of Staunton: three great-grandchildren: and her special niece, Marie.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son Edward Moomau and her daughter Vickie Dawn Moomau Fitzgerald: her brothers, James “Nutz” Hankins, Robert “Cooch” Elwood, Richard Lyle, and Edward Lee and Billie Lediford Corbin and her sister, Genevieve B. Corbin and Helen Corbin Varner.

The family will receive friends on Monday April 24, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Greenville United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Pastor David Ball officiating.
