Bertie Marie (Campbell) Martin

Bertie Marie (Campbell) Martin, 82, widow of John Lloyd Martin of Craigsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
Mrs. Martin was born on August 14, 1941 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Tate Wilson and Mary Elizabeth (Kennedy) Campbell.
Bertie was homemaker and she enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by six brothers, Raymond S., Charles R., Wilson H., Willard F., Tate W. “Bugs”, and James H. Campbell; and one sister, Alice May.  
Survivors include a son, Donald; three daughters, Tina, Sue and Claire; a brother, William E. Campbell of Churchville; four sisters, Dolly (Campbell) Smith of Buena Vista, Lummy (Campbell) Martin of Stuarts Draft, Emily (Campbell) Robinson of Ohio and Deloris “Corky” Armentrout of Swoope; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Craigsville Community Cemetery by Rev. William Trice.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
