Anna Larue (Hottinger) Mumaw

Anna LaRue (Hottinger) Mumaw, 79, of Mount Sidney, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026.

She was born on November 28, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Russell I. and Lottie (Dean) Hottinger.

She retired from Wampler Long Acre after over 30 years of service.

Anna is survived by her lifetime companion and caregiver, Charles "Pete" Richardson, Jr.; four children, Debra (Daniel) Lauff, Larry (Shirley) Burner, Scott (Stella) Smith, and Donna (Jody) Lambert; seven grandchildren, Travis Burner, Jennifer Lauff, Danielle Shockey (Hunter), Amber Shank, Rebecca Smith, Luke Lambert, and Baylee Lambert; a great-granddaughter, Averie Shank; sister, Loretta Price.

She is preceded in death by a son Robert Allen Burner, Jr; siblings, Wanda Sites, Richard Hottinger, Russel Hottinger, Jr., Dorris Blosser, and Margaret Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.

A graveside service celebrating Anna's life will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 21st, at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Pastors Ed Pruitt and Eddie Haley officiating.
