Anna Bradburn

April 3, 1935 - June 7, 2025

Anna Belle Bradburn, 90, of Harrisonburg, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at her home. She was born on April 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Jim and Annie (Mitchell) Painter.

Anna Belle graduated from Harrisonburg High School and later worked as a cafeteria worker for Harrisonburg City Schools and the Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative. She retired in 1999 to help babysit her grandchildren. Her hobbies included crocheting, ceramics, woodworking, camping, and traveling with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius E. Bradburn; son, Gary L. Bradburn; granddaughter, Brittany L. Crouch, and brother, Gordon James Mitchell

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Freida Gentry, Jenise Crouch and husband, Bob, and Everette Bradburn; grandchildren: Noah Bradburn, Chris Gentry, Sean Crouch and wife, Montana, Tyler Crouch and wife, Chelby, and Channing Crouch; great grandchildren, Erin Gentry and Maverick Crouch; two great great-grandchildren;; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Sentara Hospice Team and her caregivers for their loving care of Anna Belle in her final days.
