Ann Elizabeth Cooper Bowman

Ann Elizabeth Cooper Bowman, 81, of Harrisonburg, passed away on January 11, 2024, at Brookdale in Staunton.

She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on May 6, 1942, and was a daughter of the late William Hudson and Evelyn Edith (Cyphers) Cooper.

Ann is survived by her children, Beth Tyler, and Michael (Dawn) Wegscheider; brothers, David Cooper, Albert Cooper, and Brian Cooper; sister, Brenda Remis; grandchildren, Gunnar Wegscheider, Heidi Wegscheider, Collin Fesi and Tim Ratkis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Susan Propst; and brother, William Cooper.

A service celebrating Ann's life will be held on January 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater. Burial will follow at Mossy Creek Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
