Andrew Stuart Holsinger

March 18, 1992 - February 4, 2024

Andrew Stuart Holsinger, 31, of Swoope, Virginia went to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Mr. Holsinger was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on March 18, 1992, son of Jane (Boyers) Cole and Stuart Walker Holsinger.
Andrew was employed with Cadence, Inc. as a CNC Operator. He was proud to be the Vice President of the Buffalo Gap Quarterback Club, where he also served as a coach and board member. Andrew loved kids and devoted much of his time teaching them the sport of football. The last three years he coached the Buffalo Gap Seniors.

He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Holsinger was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sam and Nancy Holsinger; and maternal grandmother, Bliss (Robinson) Boyers.
Surviving, in addition to his father of Swoope, and his mother and her husband, Doug Cole of Craigsville, a sister, Clair McCumsey and her husband, Stuart of Woodstock; two brothers, Harry and Emmett Cole of Craigsville; maternal grandfather, Wayne Boyers of Harrisonburg; uncles, David Holsinger of Staunton and David Boyers of Buckingham; an aunt, Karen Boyers of Staunton; a nephew, Jed McCumsey; and his band of brothers, Logan Huff of Churchville, Jonathan Rowe of Goshen, Cody Ingram, of Craigsville, and Matthew Flint of Staunton.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in the Buffalo Gap High School Auditorium by Pastor Todd Yoder. 
The family will receive friends following the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be former football players and coaches of the Buffalo Gap Quarterback Club.
The family requests casual attire, as Andrew would want you to “come as you are”. Please wear Buffalo Gap black and gold or whatever makes you comfortable.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
