In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mary (Hockman) Hamman; his daughters Judy White, Joyce Orndorff; a grandson Dale Jonathan “DJ” White; his siblings George “Buck” McDonald, Grayson Hamman Sr., Benjamin Hamman, Jill Hamman Hebb, Pansy Hamman Darr.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Jean Smith Hamman of Strasburg, VA; his daughters Janice Holsinger (Greg), Jeanette Dooley (Frank); son-in-law, Dale White; a stepson Matthew Miles (Jenna); his grandchildren: Dana White, Ricky Holsinger, Jennifer DiMarco, Sara Gimple, Christopher Dooley and Timothy Orndorff; his step grandchildren Lawson Miles and Reid Miles; thirteen great-grandchildren; his siblings Ruth Hamman Miller, Roland Hamman, and Gene Hamman.

A funeral service for Mr. Hamman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Mauck officiating.  Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
