Alysia Coffelt

February 28, 1997 - April 25, 2025

Alysia Marie Coffelt, 28, of Edinburg, VA, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. 

Alysia was born in Woodstock, VA on February 28, 1997, the daughter of Keith Michael and Deborah Ann VanDyne Coffelt.  She was a 2015 graduate of Strasburg High School where she was a member of the Purple Regiment Marching Band.   Alysia was a pharmacy tech with Strasburg Pharmacy.  She loved the outdoors, her lop-eared rabbits, collecting rocks, waterfalls, and her dogs.  Alysia was a very artistic and creative person who will be greatly missed.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Charles Eugene Coffelt and an uncle Kevin A. Coffelt.

Alysia is survived by her parents Keith and Deborah VanDyne Coffelt; her sister Brittany Annette Coffelt all of Strasburg, VA; her paternal grandparents Janice Marie Davis Coffelt of Woodstock, VA; her maternal grandparents Larry and Sarah Thornton VanDyne of Lebanon Church, VA; her aunt and uncles Dorinda L. Coffelt, Dwight E. Coffelt and Donald VanDyne (Susan); her boyfriend John Reynolds along with several cousins and extended family members. 

A graveside service for Alysia will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock, VA officiated by Walter Tewalt, Jr.  

A celebration of life gathering will immediately follow at the home of Janice Coffelt, 2382 St. Luke Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664.
