Adrian Rae Wimer

Adrian Rae (Swanson) Wimer, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on October 20, 2023, at her home in Grottoes. She was born on Sunday, June 30, 1963 in Missouri to the late Dr. Carl Swanson, and Janice (VanderStoep) Swanson also of Grottoes.

Beyond her professional achievements, Adrian's true happiness resided in the love and joy found within her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband Richard Wimer, her children Josh Wimer and wife, LeighAne, Jessica Spiker and husband, Cory, and Nick Wimer and wife, Katie, her mother Janice, a brother, David Swanson, and nephews, Jacob and Noah. Adrian had seven grandchildren, Claire, Levi, Rylynn, Carly, Henry, Addison, and Josie who added an extra sparkle to her eyes. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Adrian's life, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 1 PM at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church. We invite all those who knew and loved Adrian to join us in celebrating her remarkable life.

In honor of Adrian's life, her family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, ensuring that her legacy of compassion and kindness continues to touch the lives of others.
