Worthington Evern Jenkins

Worthington Evern Jenkins, 84, of Conroe, TX passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

He was born In Harriston, VA on November 25, 1940, and was a son of the late John and Orphan (McCauley) Curry.

Evern worked in construction, and enjoyed watching Sanford and Son, fishing, and cooking.

Evern is survived by two daughters, Teresa Jenkins, and Tina Jenkins; son, Troy Jenkins; special grandson, Andre Jenkins; seven other grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; special niece; Sandra Vega; sisters, Frances Turner, and Tressa Curry; and numerous other nieces and nephews; special friend, Mr. Jackson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Friends and family may visit Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes anytime between 10 AM and 5 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, to sign the guest register and pay their respects.

A graveside service celebrating Evern's life will be held at 1 PM on July 25th, at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro.

The family would like to thank his caregivers in TX, Shirley, Clete, Sherman, and Chryshell.
