Wilma Reed

Wilma Smith Reed, 91, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Augusta Health Hospice's Shenandoah House in Fihsersville. She was born on November 28, 1932, in Rockingham County, to the late Joseph Tyree and Delphia Susan Snyder Smith. She is survived by her children, Gail Williams (John) of Florida and Gary Reed (Kathy) of Florida; her brothers, Charles E. Smith of Middlebrook and Boyd F. Smith (Anne) of Staunton; her three grandchildren Shane Reed, Aaron Reed, and Eva Armour; and seven great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Waldron Eugene Reed, and her siblings, Arvin Smith, Robert Smith, George Smith, Joseph Stanley Smith, her twin Wilda Smith, Thelma Smith Sanchez, Avoline Poff, and Dolan Smith.A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM.Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park in WaynesboroIn lieu of flowers, it is suggest that those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Shenandoah House (Hospice of the Shenandoah,c/o Augusta Health Foundation, P.O.
