William "Bill" Kidwell
William “Bill” H. Kidwell, Jr., 86, of Fort Valley, VA, peacefully fell asleep in death on August 19, 2024.
Mr. Kidwell was born in Ijamsville, MD on February 14, 1938, a son of the late William H. Kidwell, Sr., and Beatrice Lawson Kidwell. Mr. Kidwell attended school in Arlington, VA, where he also met his beloved wife, Muriel. Mr. Kidwell retired as a highly respected Auto Body and Frame Technician in the Northern Virginia area for over 50 years. Mr. Kidwell enjoyed a rich spiritual heritage and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 8, 1958. He had a kind and giving heart and enjoyed the beauty and serenity of living in Fort Valley for the last 50 years.
Mr. Kidwell is survived by his loving wife of almost 68 years, Muriel Kidwell, and his children; Don, Lynne, Bill, and Laura; 8 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy DeWeese and brother, Robert Kidwell.
Family and friends may gather for a graveside service at 11:00 AM, on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Strasburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.jw.org or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, #405, Winchester, VA 22601, www.brhospice.org.
