Wendy Andrews

Wendy May Andrews, 49, of Strasburg, VA departed her earthly home to enter her eternal kingdom on Friday, March 14, 2025. 

Wendy was born in Winchester, VA on October 31, 1975, a daughter of the late Charles Richard and Elenora June Stickles Andrews, Sr.  Wendy was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and would watch the games any time it was on.  She loved listening to George Strait.  She worked as a manager for Burger King in Strasburg in her younger years and worked as a receptionist for Front Royal Family Practice.  She was a 1993 graduate of Strasburg High School and attended Lord Fairfax Community College.  In recent years, Wendy devoted her life to being an amazing granddaughter to her grandmother and niece to her late uncle Petie.  She is now reunited with Petie and all her loved ones who have gone on before here.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Henry Franklin “Pete” Campbell, Jr. and many more extended family and friends. 

Survivors include her grandmother Loretta Rutz Stickles Campbell of Strasburg, VA; her uncle Thomas Stickles of MD; her brother Andy Andrews of PA; her nephews Jarrett Andrews and Trevor Andrews of PA; a special cousin Cory Pittington of Strasburg, and her fur baby Bobo.

A funeral service for Wendy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. David Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Brian Jenkins, Cory Pittington, Andy Andrews, Trevor Andrews, Jarrett Hargrove, and Logan Korte.  Honorary pallbearers will be Theresa Barrow and KK Stroop.  

Memorials may be made to Stover Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
