Wanda Lee (Hartman) Gregory
Wanda Lee (Hartman) Gregory, 79, widow of William Gregory, Jr., of Staunton, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Gregory was born in Churchville, Virginia on May 2, 1945, a daughter of the late James Roy Hartman and Minnie Belle (Mongold) Hartman.
Wanda was known to be a hard worker. She was employed at Wrights Dairy Rite for 40+ years until her retirement in 2011. One of her greatest passions was music. She was an avid fan of Elvis and loved the Statler Brothers, Johnny Cash, and Jimmy Fortune.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Alfred and Ralph Hartman; as well as her sisters, Stella Allison, Dorothy Thompson and Elsie Fitzgerald.
Surviving, are her children, Gene Potter and his wife, Patty and Lisa Zwecker and her husband, Rudy; grandchildren, Jonathan Potter, Zach Potter and his wife, Kelsi, Kris Zwecker, and Jason Zwecker; three great-grandchildren, Madison Dillon, Samuel Potter, and McKinley Potter; two sisters, Edna Marshall and Sue Samuels; and special step-children.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel Pastor Scott Jewel.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Potter, Zach Potter, Richard Dodson, Rudy Zwecker, Nate Milstead, and Paul Hartman, Jr.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
