Vera Star Beach Randall Floyd

Vera Star Beach Randall Floyd, 66, of Verona, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 21, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Pete and Ollie (Dorman) Beach and the adoptive daughter of the late Lillian Randall.

Vera had worked as a nurses aide at Sunnyside Retirement Community. She attended Bethany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, women's softball and riding in the mountains.

Vera was united in marriage on June 21, 1997 to Jacob Floyd.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her siblings, Joyce Shank, Pete Beach, Jr., Cindy Smija, Tommy Beach, Joseph Beach and Betsy Wine; her dog, Annabell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton Beach and her dog Lucy.

A service celebrating Vera's life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Blaine Oliver-Thomas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service, PO Box 41, Bridgewater, VA 22812 to assist with funeral expenses.
