Tammy Hope Cmile

Tammy Hope Cmile (pronounced Smile), 54, of Grottoes, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

She was born in Mobile, AL on April 21, 1970 to Donald Dewrell and Barbara (Cornell) Booth.

Tammy was a shipper at Blue Ridge Prep Services, a job she dedicated herself to.

She loved smiley faces, butterflies, the mountains, and most of all, her children and pets. She wholeheartedly loved Jesus. She found joy in drawing, writing, and traveling, filling her life with creativity and adventure.

Tammy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sarena and Jared Hubbard; son, Eric Bell; her mother, Barbara (Cornell) Booth; brother and sister-in-law Jerame and Melissa Dewrell; sister April Bemis; half-brother, Tim Walsh; nieces Michelle Sword and Brittany Sword; her step-father James Booth; friends, Tasia and Blake Whilden, Jeanie Nelson, Chetney Garrison, Calvin Bell, Lorenzo Dixon, The Campbell family; and her beloved cat, Patrick and Grandpup, Loki.

In addition to her father, Tammy is preceded in death by a niece, Rebekah Sword and good friend, Sue Cooley.

A Memorial Service in honor of Tammy will be held at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Pastor John Bradshaw officiating.
