Susan (Palmer) Baldwin
Susan (Palmer) Baldwin, 72, widow of Larry Michael Baldwin, of Laurel Hill Road in Staunton, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at her residence.
Mrs. Baldwin was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on December 5, 1952, a daughter of the late Samuel Harold Palmer and Sara Virginia (Lowery) Palmer.
Susan was a former Adjunct Professor at Mary Baldwin College. She was a prize winning quilter, a great markswoman, and she enjoyed fly-fishing, cooking and baking.
Surviving are two sons, Corey M. Baldwin and his wife Deanna of New Hope, and Greg A. Baldwin and his wife Crystal of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Hilda Austin and her husband Roger of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Carissa Sharp and her husband Eddie, and Sandra Baldwin and her fiancé Mason Patterson; three great-grandchildren, Eli Sharp, Layla Sharp, and Wrenley Patterson; and her companion for over 18 years, Paul A. Doyle.
Per Mrs. Baldwin’s request, there will be no services or visitation.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
