Sue Ellen (Smith) Rogers

Sue Ellen (Smith) Rogers, 71, of Crimora, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Ms. Rogers was born in Beckley, West Virginia on April 18, 1954, the daughter of Patricia (Hunter) Smith and the late James Henry Smith, II.
Sue Ellen was a self-employed painter and enjoyed cooking, hosting dinner parties, and attending concerts. 
In addition to her father, Ms. Rogers was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Almarode.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two daughters, Sydney P. Friend and her husband, Andrew of Charlottesville and Erin Kerby of West Virginia; a brother, James Henry Smith, III, of Staunton; and two grandchildren, Archer Friend and Summit Friend. 
Services are pending. 
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
