Steven Pence

Steven Aldine Pence, 71, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.He was born on August 19, 1952, and was a son of the late Eulis Aldine Pence and Ruby Mae Cubbage Pence.Steven was a member of the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church.On December 25, 1981, he married Dana Sue Campbell Pence, who died on December 27, 1991.He is survived by a daughter, Laura Lucas of Stanley; a son, Steven Aldine Pence Jr. of Stanley; two sisters, Sandra A. Hottel and Rose M. Crabtree, both of Virginia; a brother, Dennis M. Pence of Luray; and eight grandchildren.A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in the Sandy Glaze Cemetery in Stanley.The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Tuesday, November 28, at the church.
