Stacey Helsley

Stacey Wayne Helsley, 51, of New Market, VA passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center. 

Stacey was born in Shenandoah County, VA on May 14, 1974, a son of Larry Samuel Helsley, Sr. and the late Diane Marie Smoot Helsley.  Stacey was an avid fan of the Seattle Seahawks, loved watching football, listening to music and being with his family.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by four uncles Gary Wayne Helsley, Carl Monroe Helsley, Donnie Smoot, and Raymond Smoot .

Survivors include his son Eric Wayne Helsley; his father Larry Samuel Helsley and wife Janet; siblings Rhonda Helsley and Larry S. Helsley, Jr.; two nephews Brandon Lee Helsley and Malcolm R. Helsley; two uncles Robert Helsley and Larry Smoot and aunts Cathy Arehart and Betty Jett along with several cousins.

A celebration of life gathering for Stacey will be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Stover Funeral Home & Crematory, Strasburg, VA.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
