Shirley Marie Puffenbarger

Shirley Marie Puffenbarger, 84, wife of Charles “Puff” Puffenbarger, of Staunton passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Shirley was born in Highland County, Virginia on August 20, 1941, daughter of the late Walter L. and Arthena (Ray) Griffin.
She was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed going to yard sales and listen to music at various concerts and venues. Shirley loved children and was a babysitter for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brother, Rick and Jerry Griffin; two nieces, Shelby Griffin and Sheryl Lindsey; grandson, Derrick Keith Taylor.
In addition to her husband of 65 years, she is survived by her children, Mike Puffenbarger, David Puffenbarger, Kenny Puffenbarger, and Crystall Miller; grandchildren, Melissa Ailstock, Bryan Puffenbarger, Sarah Puffenbarger, Leah Puffenbarger, Kenny Puffenbarger Jr., Andrew Taylor, Amber Rardin and Justin Kyle; great-grandchildren, Rosie Ailstock, Abby White, Lily Puffenbarger, Emma Taylor, and Brayden Taylor; a cousin, Doug and Linda Griffin; and special friends, Sandra Fisher and April Burke. 
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
