Shawn Michael Rohr, 38, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.He was born on May 16, 1987, in Charlottesville to Carolyn Ann Weaver Rohr and the late Donald Lee Rohr.Shawn worked as a sheep farmer, a profession he truly loved and took great pride in.He was a proud graduate of Riverheads High School, Class of 2005. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and felt most at home outdoors.Shawn was also a member of Redeeming Life Ministries in Staunton.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Salone Matthew Rohr and his wife, Terika, Butch Henley and his wife Tracy, and Anthony Henley; his sisters, Shannon and Shana Rohr; his cousins, Sabrina Simmons and her husband, Joseph and Leanna Henley and, P.J. Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucille Weaver; his uncle, Nelson Weaver; and his aunts, Doris Henley and Margaret Weaver.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Redeeming Life Ministries in Staunton.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Redeeming Life Ministries in Staunton with Pastor James Potter officiating.Interment will immediately follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.Serving as active pallbearers will be Butch Henley and Anthony Henley, P.J. Harris, Joseph Simmons, Salone Rohr, Joseph Bryant, Duck Reese, and Justin Craig.Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Phillips and Josh Sorrells.
