Sandra "Sandy" Bagnell

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Bagnell, 79, of Strasburg, VA passed Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Greenfield Reflections of Woodstock, VA.

Sandy was born December 12, 1945, a daughter of the late Luther Demane and Catherine Levinia Overholtz Fisher.  She was a member of the Emmanuel Church at Fishers Hill and worked as a teacher’s aide with Shenandoah County Public Schools for over 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Harry James Bagnell, Jr. and a brother Charles W. “Simmy” Fisher. 

Survivors include her children James D. Bagnell (Andrea) of Pittsburgh, PA, Zane S. Bagnell (Billie Jo) of Inwood, WV, and Chanda L. Greco (Nicholas) of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren Brooke Bagnell, Michael Bagnell, Kiana Bagnell, Haleigh Bagnell, Makayla Bagnell, Cami Greco, and Chase Greco; her nephews and nieces Dennis Bagnell, Debbie Nixon, Brian Fisher, Jeff Fisher, and Kimberly Miller. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Bagnell will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Locke officiating.  Burial will follow in Fishers Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M.
