Rowena Virginia Sullivan

Rowena Virginia Sullivan, 80, of Culpeper, VA passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Culpepper Medical Center.

She was born on July 12, 1943, and was a daughter of the late Houston and Mildred (Strickler) Clark.

Rowena was united in marriage to Chester Sullivan, who preceded her in death.

Rowena is survived by two children, Alan (Tammy) Sullivan, and Glenn (Christina) Sullivan; two grandchildren, Amber (Jordan) Perryman, and Nicolas Sullivan; great-grandsons, Gavin and Greyson; sister-in-law, Linda Clark.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Houston "Bo" Clark, Leon "Red Head" Clark and Robert "Bobby" Clark.

The family will receive friends between 6 and 7 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 14th, at Edgewood Cemetery in Grottoes with Steve Saufley and Clifford Smith officiating. A light lunch will be served following the service at Grottoes Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Sullivan, Danny Clark, Mike Woodard, Jordan Perryman, Bobby Taylor and Bryan Bridges. Barry Kelly will serve as honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320, Culpeper, VA 22701
