Navy “Rose” Geneva Morrison Snider, 106, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.She was born on March 29, 1918, in Rockbridge, to the late William Mahone and Annie Jane Drawbond Morrison. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her great nieces and nephews, Grey and Joyce Snell, Robert (Kathy), Melanie, and David Earhart, Victor and Lois Snell, Debbie Ralston, and Denise Connor (Kenny); and numerous great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Alexander Snider, and her sisters, Carrie Jane Morrison Earhart, Bessie Lee Morrison, Helen Gertrude Morrison Patterson, Ruby Morrison, Evelyn Elizabeth Morrison, Gladys Morrison and Janet Virginia Morrison Budd.A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton with the Reverend Frank Hall officiating.Interment will be private.Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home.
