Ronald William Miller

Ronald William Miller, 66, of Grottoes, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.

He was born on February 6, 1958, and was a son of Erskine Miller and Robbie (Hunter) Miller Clatterbuck.

After 48 years on the road that he loved, Ron retired from JW Manning Trucking in Feb. 2024.

Ron was united in marriage on April 24, 1976 to Dixie (Dean) Miller, who survives.

Ron is also survived by three children, Desirae Stroop, Chad Miller and fiance, Bethany Baugher, and Danielle Miller and husband, Grant McDaniel; brothers, Donald Miller, Richard Miller and wife, Barbara, and Jeffery Clatterbuck and wife, Lisa; sisters, Brenda Wildman and husband, Roger, and Debra Taylor; he was known as "Paw" to seven grandchildren, Jacob Baugher, Dylan Stroop, Ariana Stroop, Alexa Miller, Kinley Miller, Kendra Stroop, and Maddox McDaniel; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Miller, and a sister, Kathy Williams.

A memorial service celebrating Ron's life will be held at 5 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes. The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
