Rodney Deray Good

Rodney DeRay Good, 93, of Mount Crawford, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at UVA.

He was born on November 10, 1932, and was a son of the late Weldon Isaac Good and Leota (Wenger) Good.

Rodney had worked as a TV repair technician. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He had been a member of Eureka Lodge #195, Valley Shriners Club, and the American Legion, Post 27.

Rodney was united in marriage to Peggy Cramer Good, who survives.

Rodney is survived by four children, Evalyn (Gary) Rexrode, William (Chris) Good, Weldon (Lori) Good, Edgar Good; three grandchildren, Ben Good, Adam Good, Amy Brown; two great-grandchildren, Noah Good, Maeve Brown; step-children, Harry (Doris) Eutsler, Kathy (Danny) Ritchie, Donna (Bradley) Glick, Tracey Eutsler; sister-in-law, Bonnie Craun and a number of step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great-granddaugher, Madison Good; five siblings, Ada Propst, Alfred Good, Alice Gardner, Bertha Lee Layman, Charlotte Roadcap.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater with Chaplain David Kite officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
