Robert Miller

Robert Luther Miller, 94, of Middletown, VA passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at his home in Middletown, VA.

Mr. Miller was born in the Lebanon Church community of Shenandoah County a son of the late Robert Hunter Miller and the late Ruby Ellen Lindamood Miller Himelright. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War and was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren in Middletown, VA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mae Virginia Spiker Miller; two children Travis Hunter Miller and Tamela Mae Curry; his siblings Dorothy Ellen Miller, Erol Himelright, and Shirley Brill. 

Survivors include his children Wayne Luther Miller of Middletown, VA and Robert Preston Miller of Strasburg, VA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Patsy Wymer and Berry Lou Vaughn; a brother-in-law Larry W. Miller of Middletown, VA along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A graveside service for Mr. Miller will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Lebanon Church Cemetery with Rev. Fred Mauck officiating.  Full military honors will be given by the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Strasburg, VA.
