Patsy Louise (Cave) Baughman

Patsy Louise (Cave) Baughman, 81, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at her home.

She was born on January 17, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Leroy Cave and Dolly (Hartman) Moyers.

Patsy had worked at Wampler's Hatchery. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, and sewing. Patsy took great pride in her family and helping others. She never met a stranger and liked to be on the go.

Patsy was united in marriage to Roger Baughman on July 11, 1964.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Shelley Stoner & husband Paul; two brothers, Nelson Cave, and Ward Cave; three sisters, Doris Hoover, Sarah Whetzel, and Patricia Auville; four grandchildren, Josh Baughman, Jacob Baughman, Jeff Stoner, and Tyler Stoner; six great grandchildren, Kiser Baughman, Kennedy Baughman, Bennett Baughman, Jett Baughman, Jericho Stoner, and Scottie Baughman and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Baughman, and sister, Sue Vandevander.

A service celebrating Patsy's life will be held on March 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren with Pastors Billy Curry and Bob Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
