Patsy Ann (Moore) Powers

Patsy Ann (Moore) Powers, 70, of Staunton, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Ms. Powers was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 15, 1954, a daughter of the late Samuel Franklin Moore, Sr. and Elsie May (Kline) Moore.
Patsy was cherished by many and was truly the "life of the party". She had a passion for singing, dancing, and bowling, always bringing joy to those around her. She loved her family deeply, but her love for Jesus was even greater. Whether in moments of celebration or through life's challenges, she was always there for her loved ones, with a heart full of devotion and fierce affection.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Powers was preceded in death by her son, William Young; sisters, Darlene Moore and Nancy Moore Ulrich: brothers, Franklin Lee Dudley, Johnny Mac Moore, Samuel Franklin Moore, Jr., Grover Lee Moore, and Lawrence Ray Dudley; nephews, Denise Dudley and Franklin Lee Dudley; nephews, Larry Hamby and Kenneth Lee Everett, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Janet Moore, Lorie Myers Moore, and Harriet Dudley; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Lee Everett, Sr., Ray Hamilton Johnson, Sr., and Larry Hamby, Sr.; and many cousins. 
Surviving, are two daughters, Samantha Nicole Ingram and her husband, Ethan and Daniele Sherwood and her husband, William; three brothers, Gary, William and Paul Moore; two sisters, Eva Simmons and Carol Johnson; grandchildren, William Brizuela-Bortner, Eliam Ingram, Logan Ingram, Collin Ingram, Eloise Ingram, Evelyn Ingram, Beauregard Ingram, Isla Sherwood, Henry Sherwood and Chasity Powers and Ricky Powers, III; numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry friend, “Lily Rose”.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Auxiliary Captain Dorothy Gates. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. 
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. 
Active pallbearers will be Ethan Ingram, William Sherwood, Ronald Toles, David Moore, Xavier Moore, and Joseph Simmons. 
 Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
