Pammie F. Jarvis
BEALETON – Pammie Faye (Cousins) Jarvis, 60, passed away Tuesday (January 28, 2025) in Fauquier Hospital.
Pammie was born in Harrisonburg on March 24, 1964 and was a daughter of the late Velma Mae (Strawderman) Burgandine and Willie Houston Cousins, Sr. She was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School. She grew up in the Deerfield Baptist Church Community. Pammie was a heavy equipment operator for Virginia Paving until her health declined. Previously she was employed by Moore Brothers and United MarJon. Pammie enjoyed watching birds of all sorts. She loved to travel, and had visited many states across the nation with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and a sister, Sandy Golladay.
Surviving are her husband, Mark Jarvis; son Travis Jarvis (wife Erica); stepson Justin Sorrells (Crystal Groah); her stepfather, Roy Burgandine; three sisters, Margaret Reedy (husband James), Barbara Cousins, and Sharon Hoover (husband Donnie); two brothers, Willie Cousins, Jr. (wife Dawn) and Bobby Cousins (wife JoAnn); five grandchildren, Savannah and Brently Sorrells, Dylan Clark, and Mia and Emily Jarvis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4 in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Curtis Crawford. Burial will follow in Deerfield Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Travis Jarvis, Jay A. Stevens, Jesse Stevens, Bryan Tweedy, Dylan Clark, Willie Cousins, Bobby Cousins and Jeffrey Madden.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 12:30.
