Norman Clarence Hart

December 21, 1935 - September 22, 2024

Norman Clarence Hart, 88, husband of Norma K. (Kidd) Hart, of Verona, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at his residence. 
Mr. Hart was born in Green Cove, Virginia on December 21, 1935, a son of the late McKinley Hart and Lillian (Bower) Hart. 
Norman was a devoted member of Valley Baptist Church and a man of deep faith. Before retiring from City National Bank, he worked at Safeway Grocery Store for over 35 years. Known for his wonderful sense of humor, kindness, and humility, he was also a dedicated father who enjoyed spending time tinkering around the house.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hart was preceded in death by three brothers, LeRoy, Delmer, and Charles Hart. 
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 68 years, is a son, Christopher N. Hart and his wife, Sonya of Stuarts Draft; two daughters, Diane H. Dill and her husband, Kevin and Pamela S. Hart all of Roanoke; two sisters, Yvonne Tucker of Tampa, FL and Yvette Wilburn and her husband, Harold of Beaver, WV; three grandchildren, David Ryan VanLear and his partner, Damon Wilson, Neil P. VanLear, and Ariya Hart; and a great-granddaughter, Destiny.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Frank Hall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
