Mildred Charlotte Curry

Mildred Charlotte Curry, 89, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on May 22, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Perry and Tracy (Knight) Good.

Mildred was united in marriage in 1961 to Junior Curry, who preceded her in death.

Mildred is survived by three children, Barbara Wampler, Rachel Curry and companion, Gerald Jones, and Samuel (Kay) Kibler; a sister, Margaret Wimer; four grandchildren, LaShanna Howard, LaKaila Howard, Chas Wampler IV, and Jason Losh; four great-grandchildren, Jayce Luckado, Veyda Harman, Khylo Harman, and Aliana Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Ronald Lee Curry, and six sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 5PM - 7PM, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A funeral service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at 12 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater, with Pastor Billy Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
