Michael Wayne Manning

Michael Wayne Manning, 61, of Grottoes, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Augusta Health.

He was born on July 11, 1962 and was a son of Raymond and Reba (Knighten) Manning.

Michael was united in marriage on Feb. 15, 1998, to Doris Manning, who preceded him in death.

Michael is survived by brothers, Raymond Manning, Jr., and Rickey Manning; sisters, Mary (Garry) Hassett, Kathy Manning, and Karen (Ricky) Stewart; brothers-in-law, Rex Allen, Richard Crowder, and John Crowder; sister-in-law, Leslie (Randy) Zimmerman; nephews, Jonathan (Mary) Allen, Randy Zimmerman, Tommy Zimmerman, William Zimmerman, and Todd (Chrissy) Hassett; nieces, Melinda (Joe) McGlaughlin, Andrea (DJ) Baker, Jennifer (Michael) Eavey, Pamela (Nate) Manning, and Jennifer Zimmerman; great-nephews, James Manning, Drew Eavey, Ryan Morris, Joshua Robertson, Alexander Manning, and Jensen Manning; great-nieces, Delaney (Tyler) Simmons, Gabrielle (AJ) Baker, Carrigan (Hunter) McGlaughlin, Rebecca (Todd) Morris, Emily Eavey, Madlyn Eavey, and Haeden Mealy; great-great-nephews, Brycen Miller, Easton Miller, Corbin Waybright, Myles Evans, Caydence Simmons, Christian Simmons, and Cayson Simmons; great-great-neice, Journee Simmons.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Allen; niece, Jami Nichole Manning.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.
