Michael "Mike" Allen Cary

Michael Allen “Mike” Cary, 67, of Pleasant View Road, Staunton, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his residence. 
Mr. Cary was born in Staunton, Virginia on January 28, 1957, a son of the late Donald A. Cary and Mary “Lou” (Leach) Cary.
Mike retired from Industrial Fabricators as a welder. He was a member of Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church and Mountain Boys Motorsports Pulling Association. Mr. Cary was an avid tractor puller, enjoyed farming, and watching motorsports and football.
Surviving, is a daughter, Alisha Cary of Staunton; a granddaughter, and the apple of his eye, EmmaRae Cross; a brother, Donald L. Cary of Staunton; a sister, Mary Virginia Roudabush and her husband, Gary of Churchville; a special friend, Pam Hoffman; three nephews, Christopher Cary and his wife, Jennifer, Andrew Cary, and Jeremy Roudabush and wife, Chelsie; two nieces, Krissy and Jenny Roudabush; and his pet dogs, “Ruger and “Jinx”.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David L. Bacon.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family would like to express a sincere “Thank you” to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah and his nurse, Robin Hamilton for the care and compassion shown to Mike.
