Michael Blanchard
Michael Joseph Blanchard II, 66, of Waynesboro, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born on April 7, 1959, in Florida, son of the late Michael Joseph Blanchard and the late Margaret Ann Bushroe.
Mike had an Electricians License and a contractor’s education and he was an Electrician with General Dynamics/Electric Boat. He was a volunteer fireman and also volunteered with the Parks and Recreation Crew and with the New Hampshire Park Service.
Mike applied for 4 patents on electrical devices. He could always be found helping others build or fix homes for renovation.
Survivors include his three sisters, Patricia A. Chouinard, Eva M. Duquette and Cambridge Austin and his brothers-in-law, Donald Duquette and Steve Chouinard.
Mike’s love for nature was his driving force; he loved all things of beauty in nature. He had a sense of humor about himself that was captivating and charming. Mike passed in peace with only thoughts of being with his parents.
A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held in New Hampshire, in the spring. It will be in the company of those who loved and shared his days of past and family and friends.
