Mary Franklin Bowman

Mary Franklin Bowman, 84, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Augusta Health.

She was born on August 19, 1939 and was a daughter of the late Raymond Franklin and Phoebe (West) Franklin.

Mary was united in marriage to Robert Hamilton Bowman who preceded her in death on July 25, 2007.

She is survived by children, Pam Bowman, Kathryn Johnson, Virginia Shifflett and husband Roger, Robert Bowman and wife Darlene; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Timothy Bowman.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Dayton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Staunton Fire & Rescue Dept., 500 N Augusta Street, Staunton, VA 24401 or the Augusta Health Employee Fund.
