Mary Ellen Price

CHURCHVILLE – Mary Ellen (Losh) Price, 75, of Churchville, passed away Sunday (September 1, 2024) in Shenandoah House.

She was born on March 12, 1949 to Charles Lee “Red” Losh and Evelyn Mae (Graham) Losh. She retired from Augusta Health and was previously employed by Genesco. Traveling to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee was a favorite and frequent activity she enjoyed with her husband. Mary Ellen was a member of the Staunton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Ray Leonard Price. Surviving are four sons, Tody Price and wife Denise, Jay Del Price and wife Kelly, Allen Losh and wife Paige, and Charles Losh and wife Susan, all of Churchville; a sister, Darlene Simmons of Churchville; seven grandchildren, Tristen, Krissa, Jayson and Austin Price, and Logan, Colton and Michael Losh; and one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 5 at Bear Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Oak Lawn Memory Gardens.
