Martha "Boo" Nichole Root

Martha Nichole “Boo” Root, 41, of Camaro Lane in Mt. Solon, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Ms. Root was born in Staunton, Virginia on May 12, 1983, a daughter of Steven Carlton Root and Carolyn Virginia (Breeden) Rooney.
 “Boo” enjoyed fishing, wood carving and various different crafts.
Ms. Root was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Edwin Root; maternal grandfather, Amos Breeden; step-father, Mark Rooney; and a niece, Alexis Martin.
Surviving in addition to father of Verona and her mother of Mt. Solon, are three sons, Lucas, James and Nichaleigh; two daughters, Cassandra and Jayden; a brother, Jeffrey “Jeff” Cason of Louisa; two sisters, Amber Root- Heldibridle and her husband, Jamie and Kristina Constantin; maternal grandmother, Florence Breeden; and a number of nieces and nephews.      
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Jamie Heldibridle, 606 Spottswood Road, Staunton, Virginia  24401.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Amber Root-Heldibridle, 606 Spottswood Road, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
