Martha Armenta (Lloyd) Hepler

Martha Armenta (Lloyd) Hepler, 89, of Grottoes, Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her home.

She was born on April 7, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Carroll and Bertha (Bohrer) Lloyd.

Martha was a member of South River Fellowship. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed crocheting and coloring and giving to friends.

Martha was united in marriage on November 26, 1954 to Buford Henry "Boots" Hepler who preceded her in death on November 21, 2015.

Martha is survived by her children, Richard "Rick" Hepler and wife Janis, Pat Shifflett and husband Jim Wade, Rebecca Martin and husband Fred, Gale Merica and husband Ric, and Carl Hepler; three granddaughters, Lindsey Frank (Andy), Kristen Hepler, and Brittany Dameron; four great-grandchildren, Owen Frank, Luke Frank, Kaden Dameron, and Harper Dameron; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Grottoes. The casket will be closed.

A service celebrating Martha's life will be held on February 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
