Marjorie “Diane” Smiley, 79, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.She was born on November 20, 1945, in Caryville, Florida to the late Herman Rudolph and Dutchie Brown.Marjorie dedicated over forty years of her life as a beautician. She wasn’t just passionate about her career; she also had a deep love for family and friends. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Staunton. Marjorie enjoyed many hobbies, especially gardening and cooking. She will fondly be remembered as a loving wife and mother.She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Harold “Pat” Rosen Smiley; and her son, Patrick Shane Smiley.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Larry Brown.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Henry Funeral Home.A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Henry Funeral Home with Reverend Doctor Steve Traylor.Burial will immediately follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
