Marilyn Malandro Shreckhise

Marilyn Malandro Shreckhise, 70, of Grottoes, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was the first daughter of the late Eugene and Gloria (Passino) Malandro, born on December 25, 1953.

Marilyn was a proud Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy for 5 years as a journalist. She also worked as a U.S. Postal mail carrier for many years.

Marilyn was united in marriage, in 2005, with John Shreckhise, II, who survives.

Marilyn is also survived by four children, Andrea (Steven) Bass, Gloria (Michael) Wesley, John (Sara) Shreckhise, III, and Amanda (Bobby) Rohrer; eleven grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, David, Ely, Aurora, William, Eldon, Jordan, Drew, Ella, and Bobby Jr.; four sisters and many nieces and nephews..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eldon Wesley, Jr. and one sister.

A memorial service celebrating Marilyn's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren.
