Marian Martha Lambert Knight

Marian Martha Lambert Knight, 83, of Bridgewater, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on February 22, 1941 and was a daughter of the late Joseph Lambert, Sr. and Edna (Kerns) Lambert.

Marian was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker, loved to read and had worked at Marvel.

She was united in marriage on March 15, 1958 to Litwood Knight who preceded her in death on July 19, 2014.

Marian is survived by her children, Penny (Dennis) Smith, Ellen (Greg) Lunn, Lisa (Edward) Williams, Timothy Knight, Nathan Knight, Christopher Knight, and Phillip (Allison) Knight; siblings, Alvin Lambert, Calvin Lambert, Wilbert Lambert, Gertie Newman, Brenda Miller, and Evelyn Knight; thirty grandchildren; forty one great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her son, Jeffery Knight, daughter-in-law, Dana Knight; sisters, Corine Custer and Josephine Whetzel; and brothers, Joseph Lambert, Jr., Garry Lambert, Clyde Lambert, and Robert Lambert.

A graveside service celebrating Marian's life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sangerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Billy Curry officiating.

Friends may visit Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to pay their respects.
