Margie Fern Wilfong

Margie Fern Wilfong, 91, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

She was born on February 16, 1933, and was a daughter of the late Lanzy and Victoria (Shifflett) Knight.

Margie was united in marriage to David Wilfong, who preceded her in death.

Margie is survived by a daughter, Sandra Lawrence and husband, David, of Richmond; grandchildren, Matthew Lawrence, and Amy Moore; great-grandchildren, Kendall Lawrence, and Kaitlyn Moore; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, and six sisters.

A service celebrating Margie's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater, with Pastors Trevor Whetzel and Jeff Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Beaver Creek Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
