Lynn Wymer

Lynn Milton Wymer, 83, of Star Tannery, VA passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at Woods Cove Assisted Living, Front Royal, VA. 

Mr. Wymer was born on February 15, 1941, a son of the late Gerald Vera and Mollie Mae Green Wymer.  He was a graduate of James Wood High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked as an excavator.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Robert “Bobby” Wymer and Kenneth Wymer. 

Survivors include his daughter Sherry Wymer Powell (James) of Star Tannery, VA; his grandchildren James Kevin Powell, Jr. (Cynthia), Justin Allen Powell, (Tiffany), and John David Powell; his great-grandchildren Bailey Lynn Powell, Hayleigh Paige Powell, Emmerson Powell, and Levi Powell; his sister Helen Gertrude Keller along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A funeral service for Mr. Wymer will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home.  Mr. Wymer will be laid to rest privately.  

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
