Lizetta Anna Bittinger

Lizetta Anna Bittinger, 71, of Mount Solon (formerly on Oakland, MD), passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on August 29, 1952 and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Dorothy (Vibbard) Rausch.

Lizetta had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and had been a member of Dayton Dunkard Brethren Church. Her favorite hobby was quilting. Growing up, Lizette had worked on the family farm. She graduated from Southern High School in 1972

She was united in marriage to Lester Bittinger, who preceded her in death.

Lizetta is survived by sisters, Henrietta Lyons and Nora Paugh; brother, Miles Rausch; niece, Jane (Termite) Gank; nephews, Robert Moats, Douglas Lyons, and Kevin Lyons: and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Alma Cosner; and nephew, William (B.J.) Lyons, III.
