Linda H. Armstrong

STAUNTON – Linda Marie (Harris) Armstrong, 76, wife of Thomas Lewis Armstrong, passed away Wednesday (August 21, 2024).

Born August 26, 1947 in Churchville, she was a daughter of Glenn Richard and Maxine (Carroll) Cox Harris. Linda was employed as a housekeeper for Mary Baldwin College until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Loch Willow Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lisa Wheeler.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Dale Richard Harris of Churchville; a sister, Sharon Hogan of Charlottesville; three step-brothers, Mark Cox, Kenneth Cox and Ray Cox; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private burial service will be held in Green Hill Cemetery.
