Levin "Popeye" Thomas Coulbourn

August 18, 1932 - February 13, 2025

Levin Thomas “Popeye” Coulbourn, 92, formerly of Port Hills Drive in Harrisonburg, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Bellaire at Stone Port in Harrisonburg.
Mr. Coulbourn was born in Federalsburg, Maryland on August 18, 1932, a son of the late Victor Coulbourn and Bertha (Eskridge) Coulbourn.
Levin proudly served as a veteran of the United States Army and later retired from Marquis Memorial. He was a devoted member of Victory Worship Center and had a passion for bowling, baseball, and softball. Levin had booths in antique shops and loved attending auctions.  
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. 
Mr. Coulbourn was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Nellie (Sipes) Coulbourn; his second wife, Marie (VanFossen) Coulbourn; his son, Kevin Coulbourn; a daughter, Eva Denise Dull; a great-grandson, Brandon Reynolds; four brothers, Harold, Clinton, Harley, and Jennings; and two sisters, Leota Koveleski and Lois Carey.
Surviving, are three daughters, Ruth A. Barstow and her husband, Donald of Bridgewater, Karen S. Genet of Swoope, and Sandra D. Coulbourn of Staunton; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. 
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the Victory Worship Center by Pastor Ray Eppard.
The family will receive friends following the service. 
Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
