Kimberly Anne Davidson, 58, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Bon Secours-Saint Mary’s in Richmond.She was born on September 12, 1967, in Hampton to Kenneth Irvin Davidson and Edna Jean Ramsey Sandridge and grew up in New Hope.Kimberly was a proud graduate of Fort Defiance High School and a member of Colosse Baptist Church in West Point, Virginia.Adventurous by nature, she found joy in fishing, kayaking, boating, and blue crabs. She loved all things nautical, and the beach, especially the Outer Banks in Buxton, North Carolina – which truly were her happy places.Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Kimberly cherished anything beautiful, sparkly, and glamorous, often saying she “liked her pretties”.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Sean Michael Davidson and his wife, Brittany; her two grandchildren, Harmony and Eli Davidson; her stepfather, John Sandridge; her sister, Jeanine Botkin and her husband, Mark; her niece, Victoria Kennedy and her husband, Greg and their son, Patrick; her nephew, Alex Botkin and his fiancé, Lily; her three step brothers, Leslie and Wade Sandridge, and Steve Hall; her step sister, Karen Fulmer; her fur babies, Balou, Wilson, Cammy, and her African Gray, Jazzie; and many more friends she called family.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren in Staunton with Pastor Jeff Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.Interment will follow at Middle River Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Fort Defiance.
