Kathleen Miller Williar

Kathleen Miller Williar passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Kathleen was born and grew up in the Great Depression. Her father, Homer J. Miller was a minister for the Church of the Brethren. Kathy attended the University of Virginia and graduated from Bridgewater College, where she met and married her husband of 56 years, Frank Atwell Williar. They had two sons, Frank Jr. and Jim. Kathy began her career as a music teacher, was the Minister of Music for three different Churches and in retirement worked as a Real Estate agent. She loved socializing with others and had great fondness for playing bridge. She had a passion for family and her Granddaughter Kelsey Leigh was a special delight for her.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to Bridgewater Church of the Brethren or University Baptist Church in Charlottesville.
